Nice man. Yeah it's funny I went from hiking the AT through a few states with a rope and tarp (never had enough time off to do the whole thing) to now sleeping on the vehicle, bringing a grill, fans, cooler, etc.

 

yep. wife and I started out backpacking places and now we're looking at 6 person tents and more crap than we could have ever possibly carried. time is a funny thing.

I stopped sleeping in tents when I stopped mountain biking. I guess I did sleep in an Army tent for a few weeks on my last deployment.

RTT’s are like snowboards. Tons of them for sale cause they only get used one time before owners realize this don’t like RTT camping or snowboard crashes hurt a lot. So they sell all their gear.

 

On the subject of snowboards I have two that were given to me. Nice ones. I've only got to go snowboarding a couple times so they have barely seen any use. It's kind of a bummer. I grew up skateboarding so I would like get to use the snowboards more often.

 

Gotta hit up those North Carolina slopes when you can. I take a lot of days trips. 4 hours up. 4 hours ripping down the slopes. 4 hours home. Try to go just after the snow storms roll thru.
