I am planning to get a set of Clazzio seat covers and want to get the heated pads, but I am confused exactly what I will need to do, does anyone have any experience or tips? Plan on getting the heated pad with the oem style wheel switch.

wiring is probably the hardest part.

I've worked on many seats and getting into a heater element, or where it goes, is usually not the hard part. And just takes removing the seat to place onto a work surface if desired, taking the seat apart, and having the right tools in terms of cutters, hog rings, and hog ring pliers, that secure the cover onto the cushion, if it's held on that way (most are). And magnet or magnetic pocket screwdriver to dig out pieces of old hog ring that break and fall in when they're cut.

Luckily I plan on using clazzio seat covers so no need to take apart the seat upholstery. Though I am worried if the heated pad may affect the cloth seats underneath.
