Sitting in my quiet classroom doing paperwork wondering what the day will bring. Yesterday we had chairs flying around the room again. It’s been a tough year on chairs. In my entire career in teaching, I’ve never gone through more furniture than this year. Maybe when I retire, I’ll smash one against the wall just to see what makes it such a popular sport.

Sorry Bill,Mikala has one that throws shoes and hits walls with his fist and two seconds later is sorry and crying. But he has trouble controlling the first two seconds. But so far it’s always aimed at immovable objects and unfortunately other students. So far the furniture and staff have been safe :fingerscrossed:

Good morning. No weather news to talk about except for cold air. I need to find some gasket material for the woodstove door seal. One corner called it quits a few days ago, so now the firebox is sucking in so much air I no longer have full control of the fire.

I heard back from the HR guy yesterday, he told me that he got good feedback and that I would know something by Friday.

I was shocked, I didn't do great in making the sheet metal design part and I questioned their lack of a vault/ PDM system and their absolute non-existing QA dept. When I asked about GD&T the guy interviewing me (VP of R&D) got visibly pissed off and mumbled something in his thick Russian accent. I didn't ask him to repeat himself again.
.who knows what kind of candidates they are getting. I'm not overly enthusiastic about working for a company that operates like that, but a paycheck is a paycheck right now.
