I like the look. Are the black skid plate letters replacements or just vinyl overlays? Where’d ya get if you don’t mind me asking.

I decided to test my brakes. All good.

50 mph road. Mercedes passing a truck. Plenty of room only because the truck pulled onto the shoulder and I came to a complete stop. They were completely on my side of the road before the truck and I took action.

$257.21 each at Larry H Miller Toyota in Lemon Grove, CA with Toyota's 15% off sale. That dealer and Norm Reeves Toyota in San Diego, CA are the only ones I order online parts from. (best pricing) I think yesterday was the last day of the sale.

Dirt King makes some really nice lca's with ball joints. I was planning on ordering those, but $1800 vs. $250.

Camburg and Total Chaos are both uniball. Lot's of long travel kits to choose from with uniballs too.

Since the truck will be torn apart for lca's this should motivate me to get uca's and the finally install the fox elite 2.5's.

I just bolted that bracket to the fuse box cover. Left some excess wire so it is removable. Its not perfect but it is a ton better than what I had previously.

clean looking truck! Are you running 265 17’s? I’m going to be installing a lift very soon and I’m debating between 285’s or 265’s

Lol . Weed is involved in all motorist events here in NJ as well .. it's February, 15 degrees out, nobody is driving with their windows down, but all you can smell on the highway is weed. With how densely populated it is here, I'm not sure legalizing weed was the right move . There are already enough morons on the road who aren't stoned.

I speak from experience, if you’re stoned you think you’re driving fast, just to find out you’re 15 miles an hour under the limit in the fast lane. Alcohol on the other hand 10 feet tall and bulletproof, nobody better be in front of me, I’ll show you. Of course this information was determined at a much younger age.

    74,000 mi. Cost me $580.
Now I'm not the most mechanically inclined person. But I can wrench on stuff if I need to. Basics. I do my own oil changes, last one I did I also ended up accidentally doing a transmission drain and fill. Lol Youtube can teach you a lot these days.

The spark plugs seemed like quite the undertaking and Im ill equiped as far as equipment goes so I feel justified paying that price for the plug change, plus it's cold and wet outside this time of year. The techs seem to do a good job at my local Toyota in Medford. Better them than me. Maybe next time I'll give it a shot back home in Hawaii. Planning to move back next month, originally from Maui.

I'm 100% with you. I do basics but changing plugs seems like a stretch for me. Seems like an excellent price from a dealership.

For decades I loved wrenching on my cars and many motorcycles. It was almost as much fun to tear down a motorcycle as it was to ride one. I'm an old guy now and I'm content to to hand my cars and trucks over to a place I trust for any work needed. I still work on my travel trailer, bicycles, kayaks and do lightweight upgrades on my Tacoma but engine and drive trains no longer hold any mystery for me.
