Got way more, that's just one of the tarantula's I owned.

Sold him after a few more molts as he became a mature male; figured I'd find him a home with someone that would mate him before he died off.

Dude! Those are awesome! Thank you for sharing them. How often do they molt?

As they age, they molt less and less often.

Let me compile a few pics of one tarantula I still have that I got as a spiderling.

She was a gift from a former member here and it's going on almost 4 years now.

And really I've got a lot more but I guess I didn't upload the latest to my cloud.

Current pics are on an SSD that I pulled out of my PC since I just built a new one.

That last pic is from last year in June; she's even bigger and has a nice bright blue with brown contrast.

Wow! That color is amazing. Gorgeous. How is her temperment?

Shot in the dark: she wasn't a gift from Monet, was she?

She's an old world so, she's as any other 'baboon' species; will strike without a threat pose even if you so happen to piss her off. And by pissing her off I mean, simply existing.

And yep! Got her from Monet; she had 2 beautiful Brazilian Blacks that are pretty big now.

Ah, I know next to nothing so terminology and lingo may have to be explained, if you have the patience.

Talked with Monet lots on Tundras. She had a thread there with her "little horrors" as I called them. Hope she's still doing well, and her horrors too!

Hoping this helps provide some relief to those suffering from arachnophobia, not trolling, this really is the cutest and sweetest spider you’ll ever see.

Okay, this is just way too cool not to share. There are spiders that build larger fake spiders in their webs! Even nuttier, this isn't a single species thing. They've found spiders in the Philippines that do it, and some in Peru.

Here's an article on it. https://www.wired.com/2014/01/more-decoy-spiders-philippines/

I just now saw these pics because adding a tag with an edit doesn't send a notification! Super cool, and smaller than I expected. Have you ever handled one? Do you know if they are soft bodied like the cat face ones I posted earlier, or are they harder like a widow?

And back to the Spiny Orb Weavers, again. Holy crap, there is such a huge variety of colors and shapes for these spiders!

And, they even come in Solar Octane! :headbang:

Thanks, I had no idea notifications worked that way. Haven't handled them and don't plan to. That's beyond my curiosity limit haha.

I didn't know it wouldn't notify either, as I wasn't aware I had been retro actively tagged. I was just scrolling back through and looking at the pictures that have been posted throughout the thread. Happy I did, as it was cool to see those ones!

I'm not terrified of spiders, but this is terrifying.
