I’m trying to see if they have any availability in my window before Mikala’s trip this summer. If not I’m going to do some more research into fishing trips out in the still cool enough places in June and early July. By that time it’s over in these parts. The Mayfly hatch around here is unpredictable, May-June- early July. I need to get there this year.:fingerscrossed:

Dang. When you get it open tie a piece of paracord to the assembly, file/cut a slot in the plastic tailgate cover and have it loop out just enough you can reach it without it being seen. I know there is a Mod about it somewhere on TW. Mine was frozen the other day but managed to get it open with the paracord.

I had read about the paracord trick when I installed the thing. I thought it was for the lock and not the release. I’ll look into it again when I get it open. Thanks.

You're right its for the lock to unlock it. But I but you could do something similar for the release. Been awhile since I looked at it.

Got the snow off the roof. Think we're at 18 inches on the ground right now. Been a few years since we had that much cover. Was a brown Christmas. Now it won't stop. Had to blow a path to the bird feeder. Another 1-4 today. Rain and high 40s next week. Hoping rivers stay in their banks!
Thankfully we were west of the divide. Only got down to 10 above.

the building next to me has one of those rain chain things on the rain gutter. its just a giant icicle about 9' tall and about 12" in diameter right now. thats got to be a ton of weight hanging on the corner of the roof.

    Born in June 63.
I am one of those late boomers I geuss.

Laff at Boomer jokes cause they seem to apply to the Boomers born 10 or 15 yrs earlier.

Collect my SS pocket fun money in July at age 62.

Born in 61, my son blames everything on boomers. I told him if his generation had the same opportunities, they would have done the same

Collected SS at 63, happily retired.

Welcome and take the test on page one, so we know where you stand.
