ASSUMING my '16 SR5 is stock height (haven't measured it yet) if I put on new coil overs and rear shocks that are factory set for a 1.5" lift, will I have any issues?
    Adding after market UCAs also.

    Thanks, Pops

Measured from center of hub to fender lip on both front and rear ends and it appears I am at stock height.

Do I need to worry about other issues if I add a 1 1/2" suspension lift and new after market UCAs???

Would like to order soon so any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Nope, usually you want new UCAs above 2.5 inch. Depending on what you’re putting in the rear, you might need an add a leaf or spacer.

You may need to worry about the needle bearing, but everyone does, if yours is 4x4. See this thread about that. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/needle-bearing-yes-replace-it-ecgs.716338/

What kit are you going with? If Bilstien, I’d recommend reaching out to Colton, @memario1214 and Hotshotoffroad. He can help answer questions and is much more knowledgeable than I am.

SHORT answer is that you will not have issues. The rear shocks may be too long and bottom out before the bumpstop makes full compression. However, most 1.5" rear lift shocks on a Tacoma can still work in a stock height fitment application.

You should be fine, but after you install the lift, you have to get under your truck and check that the fins of the inner boots of your CV’s are not touching each other.
Mine were after a 1.5 inch lift so I popped off the OEM clip, and slid the boot over a tiny bit and cinched it down with two hose clamps. (CV boot slide mod)

    skip the UCA’s for now

    Well, thanks everyone.

My UCAs are rusted pretty good and I figure as long as I am going to change the coil overs, I figured I may as well do the UCAs at the same time since I already bought them.

Went with the Elka 2.0 set up and Ironman Pro UCAs.

Anyone have part #s or actual sizes/grades of all needed hardware to re-attach (tops and bottoms) the new coil overs/rear shocks???

I am assuming the current/original ones will not be worth reusing after 72,000 miles and rust covered.

No idea if new ones will be included or not with the Elkas?? I do know I need new top bolts for the UCAs and have found them online already.

you might have issues...sometimes the alignment gets out of whack if it ain't done right.
