Morning neighbors. 15 and 5° here but little to no wind so the pup walk wasn’t too bad.

 

Hey Eric,

Did the remote start this morning...very chilly start to the day!

Went to the 7am Maintenance Production Meeting and listened to Maintainers explain status of aircrafts.

Now, it's time to stay indoors!

 

I bet it was definitely needed! I park mine in the garage so it’s not too bad in the morning. I’m not sure what the temp is in there but it still gets pretty cold… not 5° cold but still cold

 

I need to make room in my garage to park my Sporty in there.

Even then, it will be a tight squeeze...what with removing the shelf racks and fridge.

For now, my Sport has been dealing with four winters now...before you know it, it will be time for a new battery after 5 years!

ahh, yeah, I see. Would need a bit of work. I think my garage is on the small side but my truck fits, just barely. Definitely is nice being able to put her in there

As a SoCal Native, I do enjoy 4 seasons since being assigned to Dover AFB, DE in 2006.

I am looking forward to Spring though...no doubt about that!

 

Since after my time in the Army and deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan… almost 18 years ago now… crap I’m getting old… I’ve been less tolerant of the cold…. Maybe old age too

Wife & I have been going for after-work walks through the development the past two weeks...

Yesterday was the coldest/windiest to date!

After trying different gloves, my wife finally felt warm in some ski gloves we bought our daughter when we lived in Germany, circa 2003-06.

Wife had head gear and scarf (which she used to cover her nose/mouth) and we did 2.5 miles in some 35 minutes.

Told my wife she was taking quick steps...had to explain that her strides were longer than mine! lol (I have short legs)

I'm surprised my shins didn't give out on me! lol

 

It’s good to get out and walking! I’ve not found a really good pair of gloves but I guess that’s expected when only paying $15 for the

I’m hoping the temps get warmer.

we’re going to an ice display thing tomorrow afternoon. That should be fun.

 

@TacoTime55 for gloves, try traditional fabric mittens instead of all the new fancy insulated stuff. For whatever reason I’ve found recently that they are by far the warmest.

I’ve had plenty of time to test out various gloves with all the snow we’ve had this winter

 

Here's the pair she wore...they look like Ski Gloves. They kept her warmer than the other gloves she wore.

 

I have a pair of north face gloves that look identical but are black. I tried out these mittens that my mother in law got me from Amazon and believe it or not they’re like 10 times warmer than the north face ones lol
