I’ll have a number after the weekend! Have to sit down and crunch the numbers once I know it’s ready to rock.

Trying to pick some people's brains. I completed a JD Fab 2.25 LT kit with thier LCA kit recently. The truck was making noise at full lock and at about 1/4 turn. Talked with Jesse and he fuigout my tie rods were hitting thr shocks becuase of how I had the spacers installed. We got the spacers moved and the tie rods no longer hit and the sound at full lock is gone. The noise at 1/4 turn is still there. I have taken the truck to a parking lot turned the wheel till I heard the noise then stopped and checked clearance of everything. I cannot find anywhere that competents are making contact or rubbing. I'm wondering if it's the steering just not happy with the added width and ture weight. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be?

Did you put new inners and outers on? The tie rods themselves could be making noise. Video of the noise could help too. I happy steering racks make different noises than worn out balljoints and uniballs.

Video of the noise would help a ton. Where does the noise sound like it’s coming from for your best guess?

I had a mystery noise the whole time. Could not find it until I sold the kit and noticed the uniball cup moving around inside the arm itself.

I did not do new inner tie rods. The kit is brand new so all ball joints and uniballs are new.

I put cvj inners on a set of OEM axles I had to reboot. No word on durability but they are a nice product.

The allpro boot is effectively a bates 930 cv boot if I recall right.

I used the allpro boots on another build I had and they worked fine.

Would love that. Any tips for cutting that pipe down? Ideally without removing the exhaust again lol
