Just wondering , if you were out in the woods and seen one , would you pull the trigger if you had a gun ? Im not a hunter but I think the chance to have probably the discovery of the century , would be awful tempting .

think where those guys are at there is a "fine" for shooting bigfoot. after a hunter was killed in that area when another guy hunting big foot thought a hunter was the sasquatch him or herself. been up in that area because why not it was a great way to waste a day they says lots of people "see things"

I recently came across this thread and have been reading everyone stories. I know most are from a few years back but I gota say theres some chilling stories on here about the unknown.
Anyway, I've had my share of experiences with supernatural and ufo's in the past. Nothing recent but I'll share one of my ufo experiences. Try to revive this thread.

This happened years back when I was in high school maybe 1995. Im 45 now. At the time of course I was still living with my parents in some apartments in Echo Park which is literally next to downtown LA. Most of the area and surrounding cities close to downtown LA are on hills. One night I was awakened by a load buzzing sound that was coming from outside. It was around 2 am. I wake up to this buzzing sound that ive never heard before and I followed the noise which led me to the living. Parents and sister were asleep and the lights were all off. As im entering the living room I see some lights through the blinds of the balcony sliding door. kind of like a reflection of ambulance lights rotating. The blinds were shut. Not scared at what im hearing I walk towards the balcony sliding door and I open the blinds and what do you know? there is a freaken UFO hovering right in front of our balcony. The bottom portion of it had red/green/blue lights and spinning super fast which made this loud buzzing noise. Im standing there looking at it not believing what im seeing. No one else woke up. This thing was maybe as big as a big econo van. Maybe a little bigger and the color of it was a matte silver. No windows or seams. Just a solid piece of round/oval metal. I go back to my room as now I felt scared and was worried that something was going to happen to me. Put on my headphones played some music and eventually knocked out.

Our neighbors at the time were a mom and dad with a son my age and a little baby girl. Next morning I see the son and the first thing he says "did you see it?" I automatically knew he was talking about the same thing i encountered. So I told him in detail my encounter and he said he saw and heard the same thing. He was awoken by this loud buzzing noise. Never heard or saw this again.

Fast forward to about 24 years. Met my now fiancé. Her and I love to talk about aliens, ufos, paranormal stuff. We also love the outdoors and do a lot of camping. First time we had a discussion about this subject we were camping up in big bear. I asked her if she ever seen a ufo. She tells me yes, when she was I believe in elementary school. My fiancé is 8 years younger than me. At that time she lived in El Sereno which is maybe 8 to 10 miles from echo park. Her dads house is on top of a hill and surrounded by hills. She goes on and tells me the story of her experience and believe it or not she had the same exact encounter around the same time possibly even the same day. We didnt remember exact dates as this was a long time before we met but all we knew for sure was that it happened during a week day at around 1 or 2am. Same type of flying object, same noise, lights, just hovering right in front of a the window. And that was that. I do have other stories creepy stories at least for me they were.

Interesting account, thanks for sharing. The thing about sharing our paranormal, ufo, Bigfoot experiences is lot of people who haven’t had such experiences make fun, don’t believe and give people a bad time. Immature ignorant little bastards. Lots of people keep their experiences to themselves to avoid ridicule. I too have had some strange scarey experiences while in the wilderness that I have told very very few people about. I did share a couple different experiences a while back on here. I don’t recall anyone here giving me shit. Anyway thanks again for sharing.

Ive yet to encounter a bigfoot I doubt I ever will. That would be an interesting but very scary encounter. One of the footage that always gives me the creeps is that one from Missing 411 where the 3 men are camping out and they have sound on tape of whatever that was making some scary sounds in the woods.

Love Dave Paulides Missing 411 the movies and his YouTube show. If you are interested check out the following on YouTube.
Base Camp Chris, very very believable real experiences. The guy is a great storyteller , the accounts are fascinating. For Bigfoot check out The Facts By Howtohunt.

This weekend I had some free time thankfully. I watched quit a few of Base Camp Chris stories. The guy is funny cool. I like that he also cracks open a new beer before telling the story. Some of those big foot/sasquatch stories are kind of creepy. Good stuff
