No, Insurance deductable is $500.00. Safelight refunded me the $400.00+ that they charged me to replace it.

So now just driving around with a cracked windshield until I can't / get in trouble.

In like November 2022, I tossed a wooden shipping pallet into the back of my truck and took out the back window; I have a slider, and only the right panel was smashed, but the whole rear window assembly had to be replaced at a cost of $400. I had aftermarket tint on the rear window, so the tint kept the back window from completely shattering.

My dad was in the Navy and has USAA, so as his offspring I am able to have my own insurance policy on my Tacoma. I have full coverage, including a $0 deductible comprehensive policy that includes busted windows and deer strikes; USAA works with SafeLite and they replaced my back window in my driveway!

In May 2024, I got a rock chip in my windshield that cost almost $100 to fix, but was also covered by USAA.

You shouldn't pay more than 300. The glass is like 65$ and the molding is like 20$. Sometimes your old molding can be saved.

Morning PA. Finally after some paperwork and being sworn in as executor, have Mother's estate account set up. Slow process. Starting this beautiful Saturday with a beef roast in the slow cooker. Stressful week behind me let's have a Happy Saturday!

Good morning Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. Got a glass job today shouldn't take me long to do. Then I'm gonna have my brother help me install the light bar I got. Me and electric don't go hand and hand I don't want to short something out.

Thanks Ed, it's been a struggle due to Mother signing her name differently through the years. Nothing has been easy in this process and I get pissed when another barricade pops up. I try to be patient, but some days not successful with it. Anyhow, yeah going to add carrots and pots to the roast later today. Comfort food to get through this long season...
