The magazine situation for this rifle is a little bit confusing. I know it uses the TRG22 bottom. I've found at least two different mags that should work on Beretta's website. The one for this rifle is only $100 which is more reasonable. I wonder if I'm missing something. Maybe the more expensive mags are "premium" in some way. The UPR and CTR use the same mags. So does the TAC A1

I’ve been doing the new gun routine since I picked this up Monday after work. Step one clean and lube the barrel inside. Get the outside cleaned up and then mount the goodies. I have better scope covers and a pic mount round carrier arriving today. It sure feels like a winner so far. I’m going to pattern it very soon. I was surprised at the scope covers that came with the $600 Leupold glass. They suck to put it plainly.

Well I do believe it’s done aside from a zero on the glass. That’s the fun part. A bad day at the range is better than a good day at work. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad range day and I don’t intend to start now. I have a good variety of rounds to see what it likes best. Results to follow once I get a day off to pew pew.

The mag that came with this is buttery smooth and solid. Beretta just got ten round factory mags back in stock. On sale they’re $75 so I ordered one.

This week I got a set of Trijicon Bright and Tough night sights for my Glock 17. Better in low light conditions and I find them better in bright light too.
