They are all cheating if they are fast. I called the 19 when he turned that lap in qualifying. As soon as his time was posted I was like, yep. That ones got something special. The Penske cars figured something out too.

Chad was 100% the key to JJ's success. I have never been a JJ fan. I think Chad stopped playing in the gray area to prove a point when he stopped winning. JJ got a big head and started bitching at Chad and I think he was like "here, I will show you how much of it is you and how much of it is me". I never saw JJ do anything in the car that was great. He could drive a loose car and that helped Chad a lot but I never saw him make a move that was crazy. He just got out of the car what he could. Look at Gordon and Ray. Gordon was a hell of a wheel man but those cars Ray was building were spaceships compared to the competition.

LOL, that's crazy. He might be. The kid did get picked out of his living room and that's pretty odd. I grew up 45min from LU so I was wondering what connection Byron had other than attending the university. I know Dupont gave half of Lynchburg to the university. Seems like all that is intertwined. You know as deeply rooted as the Dupont family is with the Falwells Jeff had to be around running in that group back in the day.

As I understand it, Byron's ongoing attorney's fee is X dollars annually to fund Byron's career + It's all seen as an "Advertising & Promotion campaign" on the books, and given that LU is a non-profit, it's all a tax write-off. I don't know how they hid the hush money payments to pool boys for Falwell's wife.

I was Never a JJ fan myself. If it wasn't for Chad he would never have won any of those 7.

Remember when JJ got helmets made to celebrate old drivers as he surpassed them in wins and then he never won again. LOL…
