Some people dont have to live a healthy lifestyle to be happy, we're all different.
It may not be about how long you last but how much you enjoyed the living.

My mom (82) has smoked since she was 15, eats unhealthy foods and never actually exercises, I try to encourage her but not very successful. I will however say that she is one of the most positive people I have ever met, happy and sings to herself. I'm just realizing after almost 60yrs that there's no reason to try and change her and why would I. God Bless

Queen once asked "Who wants to live forever?"

Well, I do as long as I'm healthy and mobile. Take that away from me and I'm the first one looking for Dr Kevorkian. So yeah, enjoying life is the first step. lol

You can do whatever you want to try and win at the game of life, but when God says it's your time, it's your time. At least that's my perspective.

Sure, when your time is up it doesn't matter if your super healthy or not. No one is arguing that. The argument lies in how you spend the time you have. Being healthy, both physically and mentally, is a fuck load more fun then being unhealthy.

A little of this and a little of that.
I agree with you @rocknbil about taking care of yourself and wish you the best as you continue to help your B-I-L.

I’m 56 years old this year and so far I am not on any medications and no therapy. I exercise regularly and eat well but I’m sure that I could do better.
