Wondering if anyone had issues with black gunk on the lower jam inside the doors?
    See pictures!
    Thanks in advance!

It looks like you spilled something that is reacting with the plastic

I agree, it's about the length of your foot, or someone's foot
    borrowing your truck.

It could be but I sure don't remember anything or any evidence of that on the plastic part or the carpet. Just on this sticker adhesive.

I concur, it sure looks like something pretty caustic got on it and ate that plastic up.

Is that black color substance removable with a plastic scraper, or is it the plastic itself that for some reason is deteriorating?
Look underneath of the door's lower panel. Aren't there some drain holes? Could it be some rubberized undercoating substance on the door that drains out of the drain holes?

If you can scrape off, it means that it may be dripping down from the door, maybe the rubberized door weather seal. I noticed that there is a soft rubber substance (black color like that), between the door weather seal and the door frame of my wife's 2023 Tacoma. But not at the lower areas of the driver's side door, just by the top and rear corner of the seal above the window.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Could it be rust from underneath? That’s a pretty common rust spot on tacos.

That’s just door sill protection overlays just remove it and see what going on if paint looks good you can replace overlays.

What is that stuff all over your floor mat?

I had some Sta-bil in my rear cup holder it leaked out, I didn’t notice for months and caused a similar situation although not as bad.

It probably came out of the weep hole for the door . Everyone is overthinking this . Go buy some goo gone soak a rag and rub it off . It will be fine

check the door weep holes, as mentioned above, it looks like rubberized undercoating. If plastic is damaged, someone probably used something acidic to wash the window (remove window tint?) and it dripped down and dissolved the plastic. Unless it is some undercoating was sprayed inside the doors and it is reacting with the plastic. Is the passenger side the same?

If it doesn't wipe off with goo gone, I am also in the camp that think it looks like rust bubbling up from underneath. I would remove them and inspect.
