It’ll be interesting to hear what they have to say about it.

I would think whatever additional work you’re having them do would be dependent on their response to the diff issue.

Good luck, I hope they treat you fairly

You're already farther along than me, you've got one side sheeted in real(ish) wood :anonymous:

I did get 2 receptacles put in and wired Saturday though.

I kinda cheated though, it was already up before I moved in... :anonymous:

Just re-doing it for insulation and electrical. The outlet that they put in there is tied into a circuit that is already overloaded. I have two 20a receptacle circuits and a 15a lighting circuit for the garage. Going to tie into the one with the less load.

Yeah I’m gonna go cry now. My wallet can’t take much more of this
Whole situation is super unusual lol, took the truck in to work this morning and it’s driving like nothing even happened!

My dad has a 67' Camaro with restomod things like power steering. Idk if he actually ever drives it though. Last I saw he was doing the interior and that was like 10 years ago lol It's also blue metallic.

Since you are re-geared I'm going even harder on my theory that a ring gear bolt backed out, got wedged, and caused this damage. Right now the bolt is sitting on the bottom thus not making any noise now. If one backed out then I can only assume another can back out. This is totally on the shop that did your re-gear. This is all speculation from me, but seems to be the most plausible thing to me.
