    How do you like the InReach? I've been eyeing the inreach 2 or possibly considering the GPSMAP 67 for the maps but I like the compact size of the inReach.

    The Inreach is great for its intended purpose of emergency messaging if out of cell range and SOS use. Unless the newer versions have improved the mapping was not that great and used only as backup

    Thats why I dont live down in that area. I am up where it is awesome in the pine trees and mountains. Basically got to live in a pool during summer down there.

    It was a good time. The trail seemed a little more deteriorated than last year.

    Interesting! That last time I was there it was so hot any water would have simply boiled away!
