Hey All. I decided to make a build thread just to keep track of my progress. I don't have that many mods yet but I do have a lot of plans for it. Hope you guys enjoy.

    2006 DCLB TRD Sport 4x4

Here's the day I bought the truck used in 2008

    P27204_c131bec6e67eeb5da35a1942f6703465771abf7e.jpg

Here are a couple pics of me offroading when it was stock.

Then I installed some Nitto Terra Grapplers, factory roof racks, painted my badges and emblems black, and did some more offroading.

The roof racks actually had a purpose :)

My warranty just expired and I got a pretty good tax return so the modding bug took over :)

    I installed the following:

    BHLM
    Yellow Foglight Tint
Front Lift Kit: Bilstein 5100 w/ ome 885 coils
    Rear: Procomp shocks w/ aal
    285/65/18 Nitto Trail Grapplers
    KMC XD Monster 18"
AFE Pro Dry S Air Filter

Then I installed some Nfab step bars.

As of right now, 4/15/11, I am working on the Satoshi mod. I have to say that this project is very time consuming and is not a 1 day project at all. lol. Lots of bondo and sanding but I can't wait to see the finished product.

I'll be using this mesh that I got from 1BLKT. I'm currently in the process of painting it semi-gloss black.

That's all I have for now. Hopefully more mods will come soon. I'm planning on upgrading the interior next. Maybe some leather seats or wet okoles. Hope you guys like what you see so far.

4/17/11 - Finished Satoshi Grill. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics. I'll find some time this week to do a proper photoshoot.

haha. Thanks for leading me to the right direction. I met Tyler up the following day to pick it up. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to mount it because the holes are too small.

yeah i contemplated the attatchment for the longest time but i ended up drilling the mesh a little bigger for zipties and when i cut it i left extra hanging out which is what was drilled into, and then drilled into the tabs around the back of the grill and ziptied and its holding up very nice, i think theres 6 or 7 zipties on the whole thing, kinda ghetto but its good
edit: you didnt fill in the top hole btw...

Lol. I know... I didn't fill the top hole because I thought I needed that for my hood latch. Then after I finished the painting it, I realized that I should have filled it. Stupid me. Now I'm too lazy to go back and do it. haha.

Good looking, 2 quick questions for you.
    1. Did you have to trim wheel wells with this configuration?
    2. I thought the OME 885 springs weren't supposed to be used with the billy 5100 springs, and that the eibachs are better? i dunno, that was my general sensus of the product and many people on here...

how much of an overall lift did you gain from this?

    1. Yes I had to trim the inner fender wells with this setup. I think i trimmed off more than I should have though. I got too happy with the dremel. haha. I think I could have gotten away with just trimming about 1-2 inches off the corner of the fender. I still slightly rub on the frame at full turn.

    2. Well, I bought this setup used from another member on here already pre-assembled. I forgot to ask him what the settings were at. I think the lift is approximately 3" because I do have a small top spacer on the fronts. It actually drives smoother than when I had the stock setup, which surprised me because I was expecting a harsh and rough ride.

use a heat gun when removing it, most of the glue will come out with the sticker and then go back with goo gone and everything should be out:cool:

Thanks for the tip. My car is actually in the shop because I got into a minor fender bender this past weekend. Some guy hit my rear bumper backing out of a parking lot. Once I get it back I'll probably remove the TRD stickers.
