What does semi sequential vs full sequential mean? Does the mega squirt v3.57 possibly hav that already? And how would I even convert it to whatever PWM is? And what would be a good wideband controller?

Semi sequential and full sequential are talking about how injectors are staged and fired in relation the engine cycle. Modern vehicles are full sequential which is also perhaps the easiest to understand initially since it is probably how your brain thinks it works anyway. During the intake stroke of a cylinder the injector for that cylinder will fire the proper amount of fuel in for the mixture desired. The injection event only happens on that cylinder that is on its intake stroke. For full sequential injection and ignition the computer needs knowledge of absolute position of the engine, so it needs crank position and cam position since (on your 4cyl) that is the only way to determine TDC on the compression stroke on cyl1 from the TDC on the compression stroke on cyl 4. With semi sequential, the computer can be less advanced and care a bit less about engine position, it still knows that you're coming up on a TDC but it isn't sure if it is cyl 1 or 4 and frankly it doesn't care because instead of firing the full load of fuel for the combustion event on the intake stroke of the specific cylinder it will fire 50% of the paired cylinders load twice per 4 cycles (720*). It is a bit less efficient since some of the atomized fuel will re-condense on the intake runner walls (called wall wetting) requiring you to spray more to meet your AFR demand. Batch fire is another term you'll hear come up, it isn't full or semi sequential... in fact it doesn't give a crap about engine position much at all it'll fire half the injectors a full load of fuel every 360* no matter what... just about every ECU supports this mode and it is very antiquated and inefficient.

The newer MS supports way more modern modes. Converting the IAC output to PWM is something you'll have to consult the MS manual for, it sounds like they have some info on it. More modern ECUs do all this stuff in software for ease of configurability.

If you're dead set on a MS setup then I would get a wideband controller from 14.7, they seem to make the best ones with a bit more failsafes and error detection.

Oh yeah I really like it here. I’m in a trendy neighborhood and I can walk to a dozen grocery stores in 5 or 10 minutes.

Other than the brutal cold and the blistering summers, I don’t mind it here at all.

Unpleasant weather really helps you appreciate the pleasant weather, you're gonna love spring and fall.

    Unless you have allergies.

1" acme lead screw is a lot bigger in person

    20250225_123037.jpg

The hardware is big too, making me consider using 1 3/4" tube instead and redoing my small jig.

I'm sure this will easily hold someone much heavier than me since I'm light as hell anyway.

Real talk, I'll make the plans available if y'all want to cut your own parts out too.

Just not sure on how tall I want this thing to be, which will also determine how tall/angled I make each leg.

I know I need an adjusted seat height from 24" to 32" give or take.

The Harbor Freight chair has a seat height from 29" to 34" which is ok for my laptop, but too tall for my welding tables.

Walkability is a wonderful thing. Nice not having to drive every time you need even the smallest thing. Glad to hear you're enjoying it.

Stopping at a grocery store while walking or cycling home from work is a simple pleasure that I miss where I live now. Like, I'm considering giving up my early-pandemic sub-3% mortgage to get into a place where I can do that more easily.

My voice is gone after our weekend of flu, but they sell 16 ouncers in 4 packs at the gas station up the road, so that's good.

About 6 months. Haven't had any issues until I brought it here. Could be the drastic temperature change, it was a California car its whole life until I sent it here.

That being said, it has almost 290,000 miles on it.
