    Haha.
There's no getting anything by you, is there?.

Actually, we have a hill in the backyard for sledding. :p

I may be slow to get things, but when I get it, I get it with full and richly layered depth of understanding (or so I tell myself these things…)

Wait, sledding in your back yard? Does he know that just up the way on the trail is the Shangri-la of sledding? Endless hills with the snow perfectly groomed by the winds. It will take like 20 minutes to get there. Maybe half a day tops! Better fill up the fridge and take a tent just in case. :D

My step-dad use to drag us around the snow/ice, with a tube on the river, with his truck.

    Killing time while ice fishing.
I remember it's the same as water, only you're getting pelted in the face with snow. The barrel rolls are smooth as long as there's no burms. lol Any dismounts are not as soft of a landing.
I remember my brother and step-dad laughing in the truck, while I was holding on with kung-fu grip and fear in my eyes.
Pro tip #14 - No when to let go.

    Good times.

Thanks for the Wyasuling reminder @Pixeltim ! I need to pick up my 2025 State park pass and was thinking about getting my 2025 fishing license. I’ve wanted to fish the Mississippi River and now I’d have an excuse for skipping work that Friday!

IMG_6220.jpgFirst off I can’t thank @rubbersidedown enough. Those shocks were a life saver. After 2 months I finally got my rear shocks back from service. Fox service was a pain to contact and get any updates. They said the fronts would cost almost as much as a new set to fix. They were pretty beat up. Because they took so long they would give me 25% off a new set. So I upgraded the fronts. Throw in some Deaver leafs. She should be good for another 100,000. Going to install on Sunday. What’s the word on the KenTwarky trip. Going to need to get out and play after this.

I had way too much fun hangin' with you in Moab. If you do KenTwarky, we gonna need bail money.

I know a few of us talked about a kayak/camping event this coming summer. I'm curious how many are really interested..

I don't have a real solid plan yet. But, for anyone who is interested or on the fence..

I would like to drop in maybe in Mazomanie on a Friday maybe noon-ish. Float/fish/paddle until maybe 2 hours before sunset, and set up camp on an island.

Saturday: probably coffee/breakfast, and get back on the water by 9-10am. No rush.. float/fish/paddle until mid-late afternoon, set up camp on a nice island, drink and fish...

Sunday: coffee/breakfast on the island, get back on the water by 9-10am. Float down to the designated boat launch, and load up.

Obviously, I'll need to figure out where we're likely to wind up after 2 days of floating. We'll leave a vehicle there, or two, depending on the crowd, and use it to pick up the vehicles that got left in Mazomanie.

So, aside from the lack of details, who's interested? Iffy? Definitely?

    Let me know!

A kayak camping fishing trip sounds awesome! I know it’s been a while for me in this thread. I’d be in for that depending on the weekend availability.
Fortunately/unfortunately I sold my red 4 cylinder that was on the original pipeline trip and wyalusing trip a couple years ago. Bought a 3rd gen dclb trail limo since then. I’d definitely look forward to more Toyota based fun again.

    Awesome!

I was thinking late July, but haven't chosen dates yet. I need to double check some stuff with my family that is planned for the summer before I pencil in a weekend.
