What do you guys recommend for skids? Just doing some reading and some guys say quarter inch aluminum shears, should I be going all steel or a mix of the two?

Steel for sure if you plan to use them. They come up randomly for sale here and marketplace pretty cheap.

I got an all pro aluminium and definitely wouldn’t recommend aluminium if you’re going to wheel it. It’s basically trashed after 2 years and it’s super sticky cause aluminium Gauls a lot more.

Built a turboback exhaust for shitbox #1 (the jetta). A few more steps and this is being sold to my brother and not my problem anymore. Came out good enough for the vehicle it is.

Do i just rip the motor out and put it in tiffanys tracker? or the lawnmower?

I love the motor, hate the car

Popping in here to get notifications. How does one go about getting on the list?

In the next couple months i need to do the following.
    -very basic suspension lift
-CMC/Pinch weld bash for 295 tire fitment.
-5.29 gears (just the diff swaps)
    -Wire my air compressor
I am going to attempt to do this all at my friends shop (3 bay and HVAC :fingerscrossed:).
I wouldn't mind making the trip and helping others though. On the modern toyota 4x4 platform, I've done most everything except for engine swaps and custom fabrication.

Not so much a list but just speak up, like you did, and peeps are usually down to help.
I’ll add you to the pm for the next one. If you can make it great.

My mechanic/buddy hated me for getting JBA uppers. It was a pain in the ass to keep all 4 washers from falling out when putting the bolt through.
On another note did you watch your Jesus DVD yet?
