Slow. Noisy. Inefficient. Rides like a pile of rocks. Smelly. Uncomfortable. Seats are stiff as boards. Truck acts like a greenhouse in the sun. Nasty buggers.

I’m not gonna lie, I really hope things work out and she sweeps you off your feet, and you decide to establish another residence out there…somewhere nice…with some extra grassland space for camping for any visiting dignitaries from the Wisco Tacoma group, naturally.

edit: What I posted might seem a little demanding…. You guys do yous in your own sweet time. Don’t rush…all in it’s own time.

I guess all I’m saying is don’t screw this up!

    :poking: :D

The mouth looks right! I wonder what kind of turtle he's supposed to be.

I'm pretty sure this was a Loggerhead turtle. Very cool! Even if the circumstances were less than ideal, this was one of the most memorable animal encounters I've had. I feel pretty blessed to have been so close to such an awesome creature!

Waiting for my kid in the parking lot at school and this video came up in my feed. Pretty amazing to see this kind of recovery!

I don't think I have the balls to take my truck on ice unless it's a designated "road" with 20+" of ice. A few weeks back I was fishing on Big Cedar Lake and even with 13-15" of ice we could hear and feel the ice moving when cars were driving on the ice road probably 250 yards away. It's unsettling to say the least.

I'm definitely never the 1st one out on the ice. Around here I'm not familiar with the areas people ice fish, so I tend to stay off the ice unless I see tracks.

Back in Merrill I know the lakes and rivers and where to go.
Out on the river it's constant shifting, popping and once we had a huge crack go right next to where we were standing.
Unsettling to say the least but you get use to it. (the noises)

I drive eastward on my way to work.

It's a good feeling when I can finally see day break on the horizon at 5:30a.m.

Give it a few weeks instead of saying daybreak at 5:30. You'll just be blinded during your entire drive-in :D

    No kidding.
At least by then I won't be slipping on patches of black ice, like this morning.

I took advantage of this fine weather we are having. Tires got rotated, oil was changed, grease fitting all got a shot and I installed a new filter on the secondary air injection.

Nice! Did you replace the seconday air injection filter with a stock one? Hoe did the old one look?

I replaced it with a Uni filter.
Old filter still looked ok. With 140k miles why take the chance.
@pearing will be happy with me.

Y'all haven't deleted your secondary error yet?

    I mean, secondary air*

    Yes. That's what I meant.

I'm considering deleting it completely for clearing up space on my fender for other fun toys but also to prevent it from grenading when I'm out traveling. Of course to do that I'd have to make my truck "off road only" aka a trail rig cough cough wink nudge because I live in emissions testing land. I was originally going to do the Hewitt module but recently learned HP Tuners has an option to do it in software. Both are a bit pricey but now I'm questioning which to do (so far HP Tuners may have the edge because you also get the benefit of tuning, but I have some specifics to iron out on that first).

The Hewitt model is problematic. Just ask @Slashaar

Good to know, thanks. Hadn't seen much feedback in that direction. Will look more towards HPTuners.
