Yes sir nacho chassis. After initial run I can confirm motor is toast and esc may also be bricked from trying to load brushless firmware onto it. Mofo rc got back to me and confirmed this is likely the case. They said they'll send me out another motor and esc I just gotta cover shipping. So that's dope. In the meantime I threw in my spare mini komodo and lizard pro and this thing is nuuuuts. It's side hill and vertical climb capability is pretty mental

Big favor to ask from the group - anyone have a stock (plastic) rear Gladiator driveshaft?

    From an SCX24 that is.

Want to save a little bit of weight on the drivetrain and I was able to use my GX470 rear for the front.

Dude I was about to ask about that.

We ordered around the same time, and we're nearing 4 weeks now.

On another note, the Valkyrie chassis arrives this Saturday.

My Dementor build is just waiting for the correct pivot ball for my drag link.

After that, it just comes down to - what ESC, TX/RX, and if I should even finish the Dementor, or un-assemble it in lieu of the Valkyrie.

This is from Chad at Hard Park -

"Depends on the course. Lots of vertical climbs and breakovers, Valkyrie. Side hills and off camber situations, I prefer the Dementor."

Also, I got some impossible-to-find Hard Park shocks

I just saw this thread and it brought back some fond memories. I used to be pretty heavy into RC back in the early 2000's. I started with trucks playing with my sons, progressed to airplanes and finally helicopters. My Losi XXX-T with a Mamba Max brushless on 3s did about 60mph on gps back in 2007 or so. The EMaxx had a Novak HV Maxx. I gave it all up in 2008 when I destroyed my Align T-Rex 700 Nitro heli by slamming it into the ground doing inverted circuits. I decided that I was not getting enough enjoyment to justify the money that I was spending.

I searched my computer and found a couple of old pics. I am sure things are totally different now and hopefully a little more affordable.

I miss the t-maxx/e-maxx era. The aftermarket support was crazy with companies trying to one up each other. Although, the nitro rustler out of the box was the better performer imo.

    .
Nice collection of heli's. I flew for several years. I still have a barely flown Trex 250 SE, with the flybar. Along with a Gaui X5 FES (favorite) and a Compass 360 (almost indestructible) that are still airworthy.
It was a great day in model aviation history when flybarless gyro systems came out.

I have a somewhat hopped-up 10T4.2 and a bunch of spare parts laying around from when I was into it. Wish there were still some good tracks around here, I'd go shred a bit. That's why mine's been collecting dust though... the tracks and shops all closed :'(

Just get a set of Injora's, cut 'em up to get the squish you want and run 'em. They're cheap af and will do the exact same thing. :D Prolly next day delivery from Bezo's.
I have no complaints about mine. Two sets of tires, and each set got their own custom trim job.

    I need to stop buying.

So let me ask this, if you only build one, which would it be?

    Dementor?

    IMG_1859_2048x.jpg

    Or Valkyrie?

Yeah the vertical and side hill on this rig is kind of nutty. The bamf tire inserts are working great too! Happy with it so far. Just need to tidy up the wiring once my new esc and motor get here and make some windows for the body
