    Are we allow to have lights on the roof if they are not hooked up just for show?

    actually i put them on my 94 4runner but my mom said in will get a ticket wiht them on the truck

    Nah, roof lights = old school... :p

    As far as tickets, I'm sure it's a state-by-state thing, but your probably ok if you keep the covers on them when you're not off road. That way, cops know you can't turn them on.

    What Mods!
    Roof lights look good on a fj cruiser but unless you have a roof rack i think it would look wierd i have a go light made by magnalight its a spot light and can be controlled with a remote control very powerful.

    It doesn't look right with those little lights. I think with bigger lights and an aftermarket roofrack/tire carrier it will look ok. Keep the covers on the lights when you're on the road and there shouldn't be any issues. Obviously check with local laws to be sure.
