Does anyone happen to have a part# for the oring on the ABS front wheel sensors? Mine are torn. I went to the dealer and the guy said it had to buy the whole sensor. The sensor alone was almost $400. I bought an assortment of orings at Oriellys but non worked. Can I use permetex? Is there another place to get the oring?

I bought wheel speed sensors off eBay for like $18 a piece a few years ago. Looked just like OEM except for the label. Never had a problem with them.

I have an extra set of rear sensors you can have. No idea if they work but the o rings are good. They came with an axle I bought

You can always just pull the ABS fuse and permatex the sensor back in place to keep dust and moisture out of the knuckle/bearing assembly. Then you can pull the ABS bulb to complete the ABS delete

If I do the delete will it effect anything? What difference will I experience?

Other than illuminating a dummy ABS light on the dash, pulling the fuse wont negatively affect anything.

I changed front shocks and upper control arms last year, and when I removed the sensors to reroute the ABS sensor wiring (to accommodate my new upper control arms), I had the same problem you have (O-rings had basically disintegrated, and no replacements could be found).

I tried a bunch of random o-rings that were the wrong size and they caused the ABS to act wonky, because the speed sensors sat ever so slightly closer/farther from the ABS tone rings. So I battled with that for a little while and the brakes would pulsate on and off as I came to a stop. This got really frustrating.

So I finally just pulled the fuse, and all the weird ABS behavior immediately stopped. I proceeded to pull the ABS bulb since I was in there fixing some dash backlight bulbs. My brakes work great, and I've had no negative effects in the past year since doing this.

That’s great to know. That’s great information. I’ll look into doing that myself. Thank you!
