In addition to a bigger garage I need a secretary to keep the records filed neatly.


This year I'm keeping my files up to date -- aka: Not in a large pile on my desk...

I started a new project tonight.

Wasn't planning on buying, but the Chinese tariff stuff pushed me a little to get everything before the prices spike.

One review I came across said it was a 6 hour build. The instructions are 280 pages.

I’ve been seeing the name Roberto Orci roll past on so many credits. I don’t know him through any other way than the shows he wrote and produced. He kept me entertained through most.

51 is way too young. Gives me pause to appreciate getting to where I am.

Speaking of tools, a friend of mine is a MAC tool dealer. I do some welding, he likes to barter. He text me yesterday and ask me to weld a bracket back on his mower deck. I went by and looked at it, simple fix. I said you been doing any wood working? He said no which leads me to something else I want you to do......

He said remember the stand you made for my table with wheels on it? I said yes, he said I need 3 more so I can roll my stuff around. (table saw, jointer, and something else)

His shop is small and he restored an old Ford pickup and keeps it in there now so he has to push his tools against the wall to put the truck in.

He said I'll pay you or we can trade it for tools.

I've got about every tool I need but it's hard to turn down something from the MAC man. I'm guessing it'll be between $300-$400 when I get done building his stuff.

I need to search their website and see what I need may use sometime

 

Friends like that are great to have.

 

Guy I know got hit by a dump truck a couple years ago, he lived to tell about it.
