I just put a new H7 battery in my 2013 TRD Sport.

When I went to pick up a new Group 27 at Walmart, they were out (despite showing inventory online) so I spent 20 mins with a tape measure and figured that the H7 battery would fit.

Bought an "Ever Start Maxx" H7: https://www.walmart.com/ip/EverStar...roup-Size-H7-LN4-94R-12-Volt-800-CCA/20531542

It's almost a drop in replacement for the Group 27, and about half an inch shorter than the Group 24 that was in there.
Had to shorten cut a half inch off one of the hold downs and re-bend it in the vice.

I searched a bit online to see if anyone had put a H7 in their 2nd gen and didn't find anything, so figured it was worth reporting here.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

I'm not laughing AT you brother, I'm laughing with you...I feel your pain. Who would think that in a 16x20 garage, I could lose something for YEARS sometimes. In which case I just buy another one, which explains my fairly impressive collection of PVC ratcheting pipe cutters (nope...not joking :) )

:cheers: Good luck on your search.

100% I have a work bench with some shelves, and I now put anything I'm going to need on those shelves, if not they will get lost or moved around and ill never find them again, until I replace them, then they show back up

I have to gut my garage and do a clean out. Did it a couple years ago, but my nephew that lives with me some how turned it upside down. Glad I keep my important tools in my storage unit cuz my tool box looks like it was attacked by an angry bear.

The amount of stuff my garage has stolen from me over the years. I really need a weekend just to gut it.

Installed the new TSB door seals on my 2015. Also installed the 3rd gen door seal between the front and rear door.

Quite the noticeable improvement, and even my wife noticed.

Got some fun stuff back from the powder coater and bolted into the truck! Getting her moto ready. So happy to have some tied down options that feel substantial.

Also installed my own take on a tailgate anti-tweeter/anti-theft device. Will post that separately.

    Cheers!

Let me get caught up. Bought a 2012 TRD sport 6 months ago. 4.0 6spd. Have done the following:
Replaced gear shift knob that was losing leather
    Oil change, air filter change
    Installed redarc trailer brake control
Repaired rock chips with Dr. ColorChip kit
Went to stock size tires to stop the rubbing when turning. Nitto terra grappler AT.
Installed Havoc Off road running boards.

    Edit: and washed it today.

I watched the video above and it inspired me. Here are the part numbers. Seriously, it made a nice difference. Honestly more than I thought.

Got another key made just so that I could rip out the transponder chip and stick it in this little key/remote flip-out combo I bought awhile back. Had to do some modifications inside with a dremel tool so that the remote buttons would reliably work but that only took a few minutes.
