Does the XR have a good selection?

 

uhh idk tbh at the end of the day its a dirtbike the only odd part is it looks like the rear wheel is a 19?

 

I think it's a 19/17 setup. I just thought I remember reading somewhere the tires were a strange size........I very well could have made that up in my head

 

ya its a 19-17 but if the tire size is awkward you just go to what is close enough lol


my klx300r had a skinny rear tire so i swapped it to a normal size rear tire.

 

Gotcha. I never went that far down the rabbit hole of the XR. I still dig it though

 

yup but she should be fine for awhile with her dual sport tires haha wait and see ya know! the one she wanted the dude hasnt responded to me... so she has been looking for other.

 

Sure did! I love em so far.

My lady was interested in the XR150 until she checked it out in person. She ended up falling in love with an XT250.

mine was the opposite lol she saw and sat on a xt225 and 250 and went meh i dont like this at all and then sat on the 150 and loved it! she finds it cute and small and comfy and she loves the cute little rack on the back sooo ya she wants the xr haha.

 

Yessir! Got 1900 miles on it already.

That's awesome though! I think they are awesome little bikes that she can have a blast on!

 

Got a few more parts on the way. Got an email from Revzilla with $20 Zillacash, so I boutgh 2 filters/gaskets



Then decided to buy some fog light brackets and mirrors.

I got the snorkel and velocity stack mounted to the airbox. The new parts are significantly shorter. They supposedly work well with my ECU, airbox lid, and exhaust. 5 is the snorkel, 6 is velocity stack.

Ordered a new Noco battery yesterday. It should be here tomorrow

 

Bought a set of T-Rex spools so I can clean/lube my chain easily.

 

Also ordered an Oinker

 

Just ordered a new HJC I80 helmet

 

After a few emails with Warp 9, their rotor will work with my factory Honda hub. It was $99 as opposed to $239 for a factory one.

 

Started lacing the front wheel. One side is done. I have 6 left on the other. It's silver spokes, not black.
