Is that the only place that the brackets mount.. back of bed

 

We will have front rails for the long bed later this year but for the short bed, there is only a rear rail option. We do offer single stud anchors that replace any bed bolt which can be mounted in the front two bed bolts on the short bed.

 

Provide spacers to allow use with installed bed mat? Suggest mounting On Top Of bed mat with longer bolts? How much flex if on top of mat?

 

The rails are specifically designed to fit flush within the bed ridge geometry. Unfortunately, installing over a bed mat will get rid of this feature and we cannot grantee the load rating. We have had customers in the past cut out slots on their bed mat to allow access to the rail anchor system.

 

Bed bolts are so much fun.

 

Don't understand this. There's a factory D ring mounted right next to it. What's the benefit of it, being able to slide your mounting spot a few inches? Aren't the straps/ropes being used have enough length to adjust to cargo? AND I have to carve up my bed mat to accommodate it?

 

The rails add more anchors closer to the front of the bed (10 inches to be exact). I understand if you don’t want to carve up your bed mat. Since the rails are fully recessed, you don’t lose any capability of your bed. We will offer the rails up towards the front of the 6ft bed later this year as well. Have a great night!
