Yeah, as an east coaster I'm more familiar with the SAS geared companies lol. So interesting to read about all the different options out there for the different applications.

I definitely agree about the limited Martec uptravel with the rear kit.

That upper link mount on the Axel housing is odd,
I don’t understand why you would have that forward of the diff…
Or if you had an existing fabbed Axel what you’d do.. E.i. Camburg or Currie or blitz Axel is gonna have it’s upper link mounts center over the top of the pumpkin

    Yes

That Martec kit is really nice but it is definitely geared more toward a SAS build that sits really high, check out the bump height...it's at full bump at most folks ride height.

Was checking out your build the other day, think the front support with the JD fab inners will be on the horizon myself. Love what they did on the bedcage, may go that route too, my bedcage needs an update.

Nice work! Any deviation from getting them all on the same plane (IE floor wobble test)?

The center section (4 bends) that protrude forward to clear the baby seat are 15 degrees off axis from the bends closest to there uprights, which are horizontal, so the floor wobble test couldn't be done on this one.

Used to run welding crews on powerplants. Learned how to be very precise with these little guys. I actually prefer them to the digital angle finders when I'm setting tube up in the bender.

Cerakote is some good shit. I believe I remember talking to you about it a while back.

    Higher chemical resistance
    Higher UV resistance
    Higher scratch resistance
    Higher chip resistance.

    Lots of perks to it.

The one and only true downfall is the film thickness. While it is harder than powder a lower film thickness does mean it will be take to metal much faster with rock/dirt spray.

But as someone who’s been coating for over a decade, I do personally believe it is superior.

In the name of product development.

I seem to find ways to torture myself with everything I touch.

It’s that moment of hyper focus when you feel the socket or wrench fall that usually saves me.
