overly oily/greasy suspension component?

    Noob question here: while replacing my differential fluid the other day I noticed this part near the suspension/front differential that looks in rough shape. There is the same part mirrored on the other side of the truck that looks in a lot better shape. What part/component am I looking at here? Is the oil/grease a concern that this part is failing?

    depends whats above that in the engine bay? sometimes things like leaking PS pumps, can casue stuff like that!

    Oils not coming from there, look higher
    Lots of it, from the look of the skid plate

    F: Kings SPC, R: 5100s+J59s. Custom armor.
    It's likely oil from removing the oil filter during an oil change. Whoever is doing the work probably isn't wiping everything up after installing the new filter.

    That part isn't failing at all. Those two horns are the front diff mounts. The one on the drivers side just happens to be below the oil filter.
