    Yeah.
Yeah, that trail of smoke was going right over my neighborhood. Ash was falling out of it, so it certainly seemed like paper products were involved in some way, but it is a bit suspicious. It was blocking out the sun pretty well.

Update from the FD, 1.8 million pounds of cardboard were burned along with 6 tractors an 30 semi trailers. Didn't say what was in those trailers.

Ironically enough, I bought a little fire extinguisher for the truck the other day. Cheap capability that might be priceless one day, who knows.

Oh its kept me plenty busy, promise. Nothing like trying to chase down 500K gallons of potentially contaminated water. We've had Inspectors on scene every day. Clean-up and sampling is when the fun really begins. Still waiting on a full inventory of everything consumed.

I know there's guys in here that take trips to Colorado often, and I've loved it when I've been there. But I'll say this too: we took a trip out to Utah to hit the national parks, and man...it just blows me away every time.

I had a friend who was having some serious health issues and had to quit his job and move in with his parents. After 4-5 months of healing up and being house-bound he decided to take 6 weeks to travel, camp, and do some photography before re-entering the workforce. He had 5 national parks on his list and Zion was first. He never made it past Zion. He said it was so beautiful he couldn't imagine the other places possibly being better so he just camped and hiked around Zion with his dog for 5 weeks and came home.

Zion is one of those places where you can look, take a picture, view the picture, and then look back at what the picture was of and INSTANTLY realize that the picture doesn't truly capture it. It's an amazing place.

Driving I-57 south today and passed McCain just in time to see a car on the shoulder burst into flames. Then got onto I-40 and traffic slowed to less than 5 mph. Get up to the front of the backup to see this on the I-30 ramp onto I-40 westbound. So if anyone else was stuck in traffic on 57 or 40 around 12:30-1 today now you know why.

Had this 42" box in my taco and wanted to try running it long-ways like I've seen some of the service bed duallys in town do, but I just recently cut the feet off of it to lower the lid to be less visible.

I don't think it's low enough to run most of the tonneau covers, and I'm really not sure that's what I want to do. I'm really thinking about getting the big 60" box from home depot and running it longways next to this one when I want to take a trip and have some dry storage for stuff. I need to go measure the inside of the 60 inch-er and compare to my wife's little luggage set.

I just can't justify an expensive camper shell to then crawl around in the bed. I just can't haha.

    So. Many. Stickers.
I guess a decked system wouldn't have the correct interior dimensions for ya either

Alternatively doing my dad did with his Titan, he got a higher quality soft cover, so everything can be protected for trips and work etc. But when he needs the bed it rolls up super easy.

I vote camper shell with a slide-out. Not necessarily a Decked. Just a roller that slides all your contents out. One of my hunting buddies has this setup on his F250 and it's pretty sweet if you never haul anything taller than the cab roof.

Everyone staying above water? This includes about 1.25 in from earlier this week but the rest is last night and today. Still raining pretty good.

If anybody knows of anyone looking for a 2017 TRD Off Road w/ a 6-speed, let me know. Hate to part with it, but needed a full size to pull a trailer. I bought it new in 2017, has quite a few tasteful modifications & upgrades. Also has quite a few miles (196,XXX) and isn't the prettiest girl at the dance, but would make somebody a great camping/off-road/hunting truck. Wife says I can't keep 3, so one has to unfortunately go. Picture is from Colorado 2023, will get current pics once I get it cleaned up. Thanks!
