Little mangy and injured looking coyote pup in the grocery store parking lot this AM on my way to work, little guy was just standing in the lane between rows blocking cars like he didn't realize where he was (probably didn't). Called the humane society hotline to see if they could send someone over and the auto system said to please text if calling about wildlife lol. So I texted them. Poor little guy

walked out of the store and this guy had brought out a plate of something and was feeding it in the parking lot

 

not to be a downer but I can't think of any time where we or the kids got sick that the rest of us didn't also, or at least most of us. Somehow last time Sofia, River and Rebecca all got really ill and I didn't catch it. But that's a rare occurrence. It's just practically impossible to quarantine yourself from your own kid in the same house, especially a toddler that just wants to be around you as much as they can

The hardest though is when they are sick and you're trying not to catch it...then *bam* sneeze right in your face.

 

I don't know how you manage to resist the urge to Tom Brady the fuckers through the nearest window when that happens.

 

It all hinges on whether you expect them to know better or not. If Sofia does it I get after her for not covering her mouth or washing her hands after, etc etc because she's old enough now to know how to do those things and recall them.

If River does it, well I can't really hold it against a year and half old and just have to hope and pray that I'm somehow immune lol.
