Speaking of, the upstairs HVAC unit took a shit on us the first time we used it of course lol. So much for the inspector that came out and said it was still good, albeit being 20 years old so he did say it was at its end of life expectancy. Just figured we'd be able to use it at least once damn

Compressor and fan motor are toast, probably just going to have to replace the whole unit and hope our home warranty covers some or all.

 

There's a set of Level 8 Punch wheels on Marketplace that I'm tempted to get, but asking price is currently waaaaay to high because somebody thinks the vintage tires and crusty OEM rims they're bundling together are worth something. I don't care about how deep the tread is on your OG KO's, I'm not going to run them.

Anyway, I don't know if they're actually a good wheel, but they look like a 15" F5 and I'm very much about that.

 

My schedule is all messed up this year. Seems like New Year was last week. Then Ash Wednesday is next week. I'm going to Colorado at the end of August to hopefully get into some leaf color.

August is early for leaf peeping here, but there's plenty of pretty roads to drive down whether the aspens are green or yellow.

@time623 that little Lexus CT200 you posted is currently at the top of my wife's list right now. 0-60 takes 10 seconds with its prius drive train but it has 1 more horse power than her Nissan does and she likes the brown.

 

I'll be there August 31st through Sept 4th. I'll be staying at Silverton Lakes. This is the first year I'm breaking tradition and not going the last week in July. I have another 100-series owner who will be coming with me. This will be my 4th year to visit the San Juans. I'm comfortable with the trails and loops to lead a group of first-timers.

I don't know of any organized events in the area during the first week of September. I really should travel from there to SLC to visit the LC museum. This may be the year that I do it.

if the rest of the car is in good shape thats not bad at all

a manual would wake it up a bit too the cvt is very sluggish lol

 

It's not perfect it is a Nissan sentra after all so the hood has a dent and the front bumper has been ripped in half by an unfortunate raccoon incident and it's stitched back together with zip ties but it's a good running car.

 

honestly if shes happy $2k in parts to fix it is prob worth it over buying a potential basket case. the current market scares me lol

 

The amount of 1st gens i see with those is insane

 

When you spend all day working on a roof in the sun. Even the slightest amount of shade feels nice lol
