They sell them at HomelessDespot and Louwees…. In plastic and metal…

They’re in the nuts and bolts area in specialty/furniture.

Actually, you could easily make some… the metal ones are the bore diameter, and then flattened to the bottom on the shelf side.

Here’s a fun story. Spend a couple hours standing up this big ol 8000 lb beam only to figure out the concrete bases are 90 degrees off. Turns out whoever the engineers for us were did not talk to the engineers for dis Tran. Oops. IMG_7284.jpg

someone really wanted to use a jackhammer apparently. can the steel bases be modified to bolt on 90 degrees differently? seems like that might be a faster course of action than digging up all that concrete!

Alarm set for 5, which naturally means I was up at 3:45. Good start to a 16 hour travel day!

That’s the plan I guess. Plasma off the base, give it a little spin, then weld it back together. The concrete bases hold bolts that are 5’ long, so I don’t think hammering them out was high on the list of ways to fix it.

Morning crew....Headed to the farm to continue clearing for the homesite. I need a bulldozer but at least I have a tractor. Been pulling the tin out from the old barn that collapsed years ago. Found a scrap guy I trust to come and pick it up. I have a new pile as big as this one he already picked up. I never thought there was this much tin in the pile.
