Put a new to me gas tank on my klx250 over the weekend and put some gas in to make sure eBay didn't screw me. No leaks so took it for a spin today. Front brake still a little soft. Bled it some more, adjusted the lever, and another spin to check out. All good, so will be putting it up for sale. Hoping to get a drz400 or klx300. Son got an xt250 for his 16th birthday last month, so I need a dual sport now.

haha no way, I ended up buying the exact same Yamaha 2200 generator (like the Honda but blue) since it was $550! I’m also looking at the Woodcraft dual temp warmers as well funny enough. I like the dual temp functionality and yeah the Woodcraft has good reviews and are way cheaper than something like Chicken Hawk.

One of my coworkers was doing an 11a-11p shift today. She drives right by HF.......so I gave her my card, a pic, and what aisle it was on. She was kind enough to grab it for me on her way in. Came with a free tool too :D

Only thing I have done to mine is swap out the bearings for some smoother ones and spaced them with some washers so things dont rub or have the potential to rub on the uprights/bolt heads. They may of changed that in the newest model.

I even balance my dirtbike tires these days cus its quick n easy (it mainly ends up offsetting the heavy rimlock)

This is all new for me. Before the Rally, the last time I changed a tire was in 2001ish(the bikes I had after I sold before they needed tires:anonymous:). I pulled the wheels on my GSXR to paint them red.

Just got back from my first ride of the year on the GSXR 750. This is the first real ride since I bought it in Nov last year. I have to say there is nothing I don’t like about it. Comfortable (with helibars) great power, awesome sound from exhaust and air box growl. I did install the baffle in the M4 exhaust and this is the first ride with it installed. Way way better!!! Perfect sound and not too loud or quiet. Without the baffle it was ridiculously loud.
It’s going to be nice again tomorrow and the wife will be doing some with her best friend so I will take out the KLX and maybe the monkey. They have been sitting too long.

Wife and I just got out for a first short ride of the year last night. Hoping to do the same tonight. She's loving the DCT. Figured she'd need to relearn a lot since it's been a few months, but she picked it right back up. Was even willing to head out on some pretty busy streets to get to a gas station for the first time. Hopefully weather holds out on Saturday, so we can maybe get out a bit further.

I will say... that Rebel 1100 has a tiny gas tank, lol. I had a third of a tank left, and put in two gallons of gas. Hers was blinking on empty and took the same two gallons. 3.6 gallons per the specs on her 1100, I think my CB500x is 4.7.

just a couple of things tbh
2nd day of her riding went way better! She was able to get the bike up and going and ride around in figure 8s and started getting use to clutch throttle and rear brake! She did really damn good with how wet and muddy it was! I was just messing about and trying to see how far I could lean in my turns before I about fell haha had a great time and the bikes are loaded up to go out as much as we can this weekend!

Sadly my bike fell over right before we got to my parents and scratched her gas tank.... So the first scratch was my fault? Ugh!

I do have some videos that were taken on my dad's iPhone and waiting on him to email them to me so I can share them on insta and such! But super happy with how well she did and she was over the moon happy and excited for more!
