    rough country 3" lift
Hey, Could someone help me out by looking at these pics of a 3" Rough Country lift that was installed a year ago by shop? He said his truck rides rougher than ever, extremely stiff.
Do you have any ideas on how to improve the ride, with the lift?
Mainly, is this dangerous to drive with, i noticed all these broken parts.
    Appreciate everyone's help!

Spacer lifts generally make the ride worse
How many miles on those shocks?
I don’t believe that part you think is broken is the spring, I think it’s just the rubber isolator, doesn’t affect ride, just to prevent some noise. Poke at it, is the spring under broken?

so if you work on cars
You’ll know a suspensions job is to suspend. To compress and absorb shock. Dampen. Etc. If you don’t know that you probably shouldn’t be working on cars.

as you can see here, this vehicle does the opposite. For two reasons.
    1. Stock crap suspension
    2. Solid pucks of metal that are not suspension. Just like a shopping cart is not suspension.
In addition, pucks of metal moving the factory crap suspension out of its designed operating range.

looks to me like they made it be crap suspension by running crap suspension and blocks in addition to that. Rather than just having, a suspension. Or a good suspension.

is it dangerous to drive with strut spacers? Probably. Take it off road and see how long it takes to bend or break those pencil struts being spaced out of their operating range. As some have done before.
