Perfect size trailer. Long enough to do what you need with drive overs and looks like the front could add a cowl to protect stuff and get some aerodynamic form!

you talking about the aluminum ones from sdhq? I have installed like three sets and I have hated them every time… used like three different batteries and every time they have never gotten tight. It’s one of the few things from them I haven’t been impressed by, probably would work better if they had knurled the inside of them.

I’ve had bad luck with battery lugs too.
None stay tight on my Northstar AGM. I thought it was the battery.

Yup. No issues whatsoever here. Not saying it’s what happened with you but over tightening lugs is the number one destroyer of them.

You could take and peen them with a punch a dozen times and probably make them grab again though.

You probably have SAE battery posts which are conical shaped for some inexplicable fktarded reason so when you slip a non conical terminal which they all are on it nothing but the bottom edge bites. this has been problem as long as i have been pissing away money on cars and it has never made sense ? the solution is to buy a battery with and use the GM style posts on the side / front of the battery, they are far more secureIMG_5171.jpg IMG_5170.jpg

I’ve never seen a post that isn’t tapered to some degree

The SDHQ lug is tapered and clearly bites hard into my SAE posts with the grip rings they machine into the lug. SAE posts are what is going to be on any quality AGM.

Got a smokin deal off FB marketplace for a set of brand new unused Pure race 3.0x16 for the rear of my truck. The 2.5's have been getting smokin hot with this new front suspension. So I have been looking for a deal on 3.0s and one popped up today.

Happens to the best of us. Not really a proper build if you haven't.

Melted my fuel pump connector when boxing the frame. Stopped welding and my helmet never lightened up, sat for a few seconds and pulled it up only to see a small fire inside my frame rail. Of course panicked and just started blowing on it lol
