one of the last trips a guy in a sas 3rd gen pickup on 40s and his friend were trash talking on the CB about how jealous i must have been about his truck and how I must be having a hard time with the trail… on a trail that can be done on 31s lol

    Checks out

The whole Bunce trail system is a shit show, but it seems like all the trails are gonna end up choked up with Insta-douches and SXS traffic like that eventually anyway.

I read this and thought "I should get my stock truck out on some trails this summer for lulz".

Then I remembered why I don't go out on trails...

@Wulf have you done any of the access roads around Westcliffe? Not Medano pass, but the other random roads up into the mountain in that area.

I drove part way up one last year. It was doable in my truck but definitely giving the suspension a workout. The road was just loose rocks the size of various sportsballs. This SxS came up behind me doing like 15mph to my maybe 5mph... they are impressive machines, it just sucks that the easy availability of such capable vehicles has overwhelmed the places people use them.

Anyway, it's a pretty area, the roads seemed interesting, and it's all far enough away from Denver/Boulder to discourage the day trippers.

Took Dex to my nephew’s 2nd bday party, when they busted out the piñata and started beating on it poor Dex got super disturbed and kept trying to hide between my legs.

puppy days!! they go so quick though - it's funny how much time they really give you to name them though. Even older dogs you get from the shelter can learn a new name.

I love Trisket for the name.

You all are gonna love this, if you can believe it. The xterra just ate either a head gasket or intake gasket and I’m stranded on Moscow Mountain (AAA is supposedly on the way). It started overheating and wouldn’t idle. I continue to outdo myself in terms of outright stupidity. Go ahead am flame away, lord knows I deserve it.

Triscuit would be awesome but I’d wonder how much confusion it might cause between the two of them lol
