Good afternoon friends! Hope you’ve all had a good day so far and have an awesome weekend :hattip:

Been doing a little wiring in the shop and just got done painting Cole’s room. It was the last room to be painted since we moved here. Now to get some boards and build him some shelves like he wants. And a gun rack for his BB guns.

Saw this old Ford Ranger on the way home, had a V8 in it with the rear end tubbed and wide slicks. He took off with smoke rolling.

Why can I not stand sports? When you watch a family screaming at their child to punch another kid in the mouth. Not leaving when they are asked to. Seeing the sheriffs office (3 cruisers) roll in after the game because an adult (30+ years old) pushes a 12 year old down to talk trash to another parent. Absolutely pathetic. I told our son before the game “Go out there and have fun. I don’t care if you win or lose, just have fun.”

    This was third grade basketball.

That Ranger cab chopped or am I just imagining things? Back to the mowing every other weekend now to knock the weeds back.

If you stack pennies, they fuse into a copper rod. Good for grounding!

It's got to be. I sat here staring at the image for far too long questioning if it's really a ranger.

The headlights scream 80's ranger, but the cab windshield rake is entirely wrong. And the door window openings are really odd. That gen had thin pillars. Those are thick with a taper at the top.

    So many questions...

Rangers never had tons of headroom. They also generally lack leg room for anyone over 5' tall. Chopping the roof even 2" would lead to neck cramps...

But none of that would drastically alter the windshield pitch like that.

And even if someone did chop the roof, it means they also had to chop the doors, and source new glass all around. If that's all true, that truck has more money into only it's cab than that truck sold for brand new! And counting the V8, and tubbed rear end, that truck has got to have some somewhere in the northern half of 5 digits of stuff done to it...

Good morning Crew, did a little home improvement/repair yesterday. Had to get some stuff from the shop to enhance some bracing on the garage door.

Good thing I still had the manuals as the installer didn't do it correctly from the beginning.
