$1,685 for the SR upgrade package which is blind spot monitoring and deck rail cleats? I get the SR upgrade is one of those if it's on the truck you want you have to take it options, and some one might want the BSM. I fall in the category of I don't want the upgrade pkg. Less features is what makes the SR appealing to me.

I've heard complaints of rough or problematic shifting between gear changes. I have no way of verifying anyone's complaints. The complaints sound like the common issues you hear if with other 8 and 10spd transmissions. I forget it it's planetary gears, or open-something? What ever modern transmission have instead of real gears. Which is more of a characteristic of modern automatics, which get a lot of complaints most of those are 10spds. There have been issues with other Aisin 8 spd transmissions in the past.

You ever sit in a 3g tacoma when it’s idling with the a/c on? It’s vibrates and shakes more then a 1930s farm tractor, oh and if it’s to humid your passenger will enjoy the lovely feature of having water dripping all over his/her feet because the hvac is so poorly designed lol

 

Might just be a characteristic of the transmission. We have a '23 Camry with an 8 speed (before anybody gets their thongs in a wad, yes I know completely different transmission) and it is clunky at times.
