Do any other trucks have camper shells that fit an extracab first gen?

Some may be close but if you want a good fit, I'd go with a camper actually meant for your truck. I've seen 1st gens with 2nd gen shells but they're not perfect

I have a Lunar Mist shell that I bought in June of 2002. I am going to get a new A.R.E from Suburban Toppers here in Denver, CO. They are expensive, but you can get one to fit perfectly. I'm also going to sell mine. Haven't researched a fair price yet.

What people want to pay? $200-500
What people usually list them for (even if they are as old as 15-20 years): $1500

    GLWS.

I’ve bought and sold 3-4 1st gen fiberglass shells and one aluminum ARE DCU. All prices have been around $500 for fully featured, carpeted shells.

Facebook marketplace. When I was looking for a regular cab shell I could find 1st gen xtra cab shells pretty often. They are more common than regular cab or double cab shells. Learn what one looks like and hold out till you find the right one. Good luck. I found mine after two months and it was 4 hours away, $300 and right color.

Craigslist is full of used camper shells that are "close" but that is often why they are for sale.
