still kind of crazy that no one has really gotten any decent footage of bigfoot or how theyve never attacked any of the people that have encounter them out in the wild. I totally believe that they exist

    They are very elusive

Probably what I least believe are the rock throwing harassment type encounters. If these were true one would have been bagged long ago

I never use to worry about being unarmed in the woods but in the last 10 years I’ve experienced some strange humans in the woods. I’m less afraid of the bear and squatch than some of the degenerates I’ve encountered while in the woods. Those humans are the main reason I always carry in the woods.

agreed, a year or so ago, I got asked if id be interested in a few fallen trees on a piece of property, went up with a few friends a trailer and a bunch of chain saws. me and the guys were running the trees into smaller pieces and stacking in the trailer. all of this sudden some tweaker pops out of my friends trucks back seat with an old Gatorade or something, asking if we have any food, we all tell him no, and tell him to stay out of our vehicles, and he needs to leave. the property was like a quarter mile off a trail know for "urban outdoorsmen" living trailside. likely woke up off a drug fueled journey. dude pulled out a crusty knife starts waiving it around. talking about being really hungry and needing something to drink. we told the dude he was welcome to that old drink but needed to go. only time I've ever seen my one friend super concerned. the tweaker cleared out finally, and they guys whos truck he was in the back of later mentioned that under his jacket was his M&P in the front seat. things could have gone really weird, just glad I didn't need my pistol, but after that there was one of us who was always watching for more to come out of the woods.

The last of 3 experiences I posted is post # 2930, page 147. It was scary.
As far as carrying a weapon, I’ve been an avid outdoorsman all my life, hunting , fishing, backing packing etc, spent thousands of hours in the wilderness. I have never ventured into the wilderness without a gun. On three occasions it has saved my ass. One time I fired it, 2 times having in my hand discouraged the bad guys.

Now ill share one of my paranormal stories.

This took place back around 2004 2005. At that time me and two of my buddies opened up a shop near Los Angeles in a city called Hunting Park. This area was mainly industrial and was right next to where the Metro line would pass. We did prototype body kits for high end cars Porsche, Lambos, skylines and others. We also did body and auto paint. We rented this "shop" which was really not set up for the type of work we were going to do. We had to put in a lot of work to build a spray booth, an area where we would do all the body and sanding/prep work and then another area where my buddy Jaime would do all the moldings for fiber glass and carbon fiber moldings. This area where the shop was pretty lonely and sketchy at times. Not the safest but nothing new to us as we were from LA.

First day we show up to the shop to check it out and do some minor cleaning. My other buddy Benjamin brought his 2 younger brothers to help us. We all had day jobs so we went after work which was around 8pm. The shop had a front gate that was locked and then the main garage door. We unlock the front gate and walk to the main garage door to unlock and open it. We open the garage door and all of us walk into the shop but Benjamins younger brother doesnt go in and just stands there. He didnt want to go in and told his brother i'll wait in the car. When we opened the garage door I seen him just stand there and was looking towards the back of the shop to the right. It was dark since there were no lights at the time. We had to use flashlights. He stood there looking at that spot. I looked at his face and it looked like he had seen a ghost or something scary. So as mentioned before he goes back to the car and that was it. We start cleaning. It got late and we called it a night and went home. The next day which was a Saturday we show up to the shop. This time the younger brother did not come with Benjamin. We go to the roof to install an extractor fan for the booth. As we were walking around the roof we find this creepy looking doll. It had no clothes. The hair was all messy and the dolls face looked like the exorcist girl. It just looked creepy. So we tossed it but it did give us a bad vibe. Anyway a week later or so the shop is all set up. We started bringing in the cars that we were working on.

So we settled in after a month. We would go to the shop after we got off work. Normally all 3 of us would stay pretty late working on these projects. Sometimes all the way till 3 or 4 in the morning. We also had other cars that we were working on but at other locations, so sometimes Benjamin and Jaime would go to these other locations to work on those cars and I would be the only one at our shop doing all the prep work.
One night I was at the shop by myself. I had got there around 9pm as i went home first to change and then head to the shop. Im wet sanding a car and I hear someone whistle in the back of the shop like if someone was trying to get my attention. I did find it weird since normally there were no other people around. No one lived around there and most of the other business/warehouses only operated during the day. Through out the night i kept hearing this whistle. I went outside to see around and found no one. It finally stopped. I called it a night and went home.

After a few weeks on a Saturday we are all at the shop working and Benjamin asked us if we had ever heard anyone whistle in the shop. Right away Jaime and I said YES. So both of them described the same thing I had experienced only difference was that Benjamin said he has also heard a man say "hey" here and there and no one is there. Each one of us had our own alone time at the shop and it seemed that these paranormal activities only happened when it was only one of us there alone.

Another night alone at the shop I was in the prep/sand area working on a car. That room only had 3 walls. Where the 4th wall would be we hung a really thick tarp to divide that room from the other rooms. So when we would work in that area we would pull the tarp to close that area so the sanding and dust will stay inside. As I was block sanding this car I hear some foot steps walk by me. Immediately I get goose bumps and the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. Foot steps stop and I hear nothing else. I continue to sand and im trying to distract myself. As Im sanding Im right next to the hanging tarp and I see as if someone is walking next to the tarp with their arm/hand out rubbing against the tarp as it walks if that makes any sense. I see the tarp move as this entity walks through and out the room. I freaked out. I stopped what I was doing and decided to call it a night. To top it off the only way to turn the lights of at the shop we had to turn off the breakers which were all the way in the back of the shop. So you had to go back there turn off the breakers, walk back out through the darkness and lock the gates. Same to turn them on so it didnt help after experiencing that.

Following day we all show up to the shop. We go to the prep/sanding room to look at the car I was working on. I was practically done with the prep work on this car. The plan was to spray it in the next couple of days. So I had did the body work on it and all the panels were nice and blocked. So we are looking at the car and on the passenger side from the rear quarter panel to the front fender it was all dented. Like if someone went in there with a bat and hit the whole side of the car as if they wanted to damage it. Only way to get into the shop was through the front. Locks were intact when we got there. Nothing else was out of place.
What caused this????? who knows but it must of been whatever entity lived there.

Last thing I want to share. I know I already typed up a lot here. So months later after all of us have been having these weird encounters Benjamin shares with us that one night we all showed up at the shop for the first time his younger brother didnt go inside because when we opened the garage door he saw a figure all the way in the back of the shop where the prep/sanding room was. He described it as a dark evil entity that was just standing there looking at us. Apparently his younger brother has always been able to sense or see these kinds of things. Benjamins younger brother doesnt really talk. He had some condition I cant recall exactly what it was. He passed away maybe like 5 years after that.

Interesting story. I think I would have been a little leery about working there at night by myself.

Absolutely! Sometimes the presence of a weapon can escalate things. It tends to make me avoid situations more when I have a pistol.
