‘09 Double Cab 4x4 still going strong with original motor and transmission! New frame due to recall is only major work ever done. Is this unusual for this truck?

    Welcome to the forum :hattip:

Generally the better vehicles are taken care of the longer they last, keep doing what you are doing.

Since you have averaged almost 30K/year you probably do a lot of highway driving as well, ideal service for a vehicle.

I’ve always changed oil at 5,000 intervals. Had trans serviced at 100k and 200k. Was advised at 300k to not have it flushed and changed. Tech told me I’d be inviting problems! Told me to just continue to enjoy it. I never thought I’d be at 410k and still going! Best vehicle I’ve ever owned. It’s now my daily driver and retired from the long trips pulling utility trailer loaded with ATV and hunting gear. Use the Tundra for that now!

I would be interested to see a colour sample of the AT fluid at 200k miles since last changed
No drain and fills in that long span?

I’d be afraid to even look at this point!!! I don’t push it hard, only occasionally tow a 6.5x12 utility trailer, and just keep praying!!!!
