Yeah, i hadn't seen the salvage title until after i posted it then laughed.

Also yes, I think top gear did it - buy cheap super cars of old. You can do it but they're shenanigans to deal with. I think they all constantly broke down and the repair bills were astronomical.

I'd rather a car that's relatively normal like a Miata or a supra. Then I'm not scared about taking a drive to work in it because it'll cost me more than I earn that day just to exist.

Would still be fun for a bit though

 

I sent a very polite nastygram to them about it after I made the above post and to my amazement the service manager called and we had a solid fifteen minute chat. While there's certainly an element of BS in the conversion if the dude wasn't psychotic I got the feeling he was actually upset with how things were handled, from things with my history with them, what was said on the phone as well as what was said in the text chain back to me when I was approving or denying their suggestions. I'm not 100% sure I'll use them again, but I'm also not 100% sure I won't anymore, so I appreciate that. I also now know who to email if I hit a wall and which advisor to avoid if I don't want to go nuts.

Anybody know a good way to get stickers off a car?

 

Off of the body, use heat (to remove the sticker) and isopropyl alcohol (remove the glue). If it is on glass, just use a razor blade, and some glass cleaner the get the remaining glue.

 

I'll give this a try, I have no idea how long they've been on there. Im asking for ones on paint
