I've been coughing my brains out all weekend; urgent care sent me home with their nebulizer for the night until I can pick up my own in the morning. They are baffled at how I managed to get such unhappy lungs -- best guess is allergies kicked an extreme bout of asthma that I can't kick on my own. He said my o2 just shouldn't be 90 with the lung like mine -- he said they look like an athlete (awwwww). Feel like absolute death though; coughing all day since Thursday is exhausting. But not pneumonia or flu!

Anyway -- hubs unit has been helping track down my annoying screech. Seems to be exhaust related; comes on easily with heat, and gone again just as quickly. It's been hard to chase...BUT, since he pulled the crossover off to inspect it lookie what we finally found...

I saw a youtube video a while back basically doing this same concept. theres definitely a lot of possible applications for that..
I also made several patterns in anticipation of doing basically the same thing, but I'm not gonna have much tube work projects for a while...

if that guy does make the full solution and instruction readily available, I probably will make that to make the next couple sets of merge collectors for headers... getting those just right was annoying on my last set. I ended up 2D printing a sleeve to mark each section perfectly.

Man I am having trouble figuring out what project needs my attention right now. The Land Cruiser one is enticing because it is a chance to finally rewire and install a fresh ECU, coils, and injectors. But I know I'm going to want to fully spiral on that and refresh the engine too... and I have another 1FZ in my basement. But like also the race truck needs work, the other broken truck at my house needs work, and really I should at a minimum finish installing some of my radios in my Taco...

Yeah that's probably the right move, really won't take long to have that ready for a trip coming up in April.

Stop that, I already have problems with that. If the damn Land Cruiser didn't start running like shit because of its now unobtanium O2 sensors I'd have left it be for another few years.

Nah, T100 is the race truck. The broken one is Jayson's pickup, had an injector fail at high boost and melted a piston... so in the spirit of going overboard we are going to replace the 2RZ with a mildly built 3RZ

The one thing still lingering are my headaches, been waking up each time and they're way more intense than I'm used to :annoyed:

Have you tried drugs? I hate headaches, I never get em usually so when some illness brings em on I need Tylenol or something.

He does state another post about having watched that video, which inspired him to do this.

I haven't followed it closely but apparently he's going to make the STL available to everyone. I'll shoot you a link if it happens.

I go in the group less since being a mod gives you all those member request notifications and more :bananadead:

How's cutting aluminum for you? I don't see you do it ever but I'd assume you can.

I'm a complete anti-drug user, and yes I've been on Advil the past 2 days.

It does relieve the plain completely fortunately, but man it's that initial sharp pain when ya wake up and it's like...ok, Advil time.

This morning it was at 4:33am

A lot of that I can do with normal extrusions and saw cuts thankfully. But I have a couple flat brackets I was wondering if you'd be able to cut

I can; I'd love to dial it in on some aluminum anyway
