Not sure to be honest... but I would think so, meaning, pay whatever you have earned up until the day you leave. Our vacation accrues over time, and if I work a full year than I would have earned 4 weeks worth of vacation. But you can take the time off as you go along, meaning, by the time I take any vacation time it's the summer and by then I already have about 2 weeks or a bit over to take off, and by the end of the year I have another 2.

 

I guess not... My wife just changed jobs and she got paid out but that is in MA.

Almost. There’s also the issue of the three hour drive.

 

Maybe we could time it for a 3 bears trip. Burn the sliders on saturday, grab a hotel, test them out on sunday.

You’d be surprised. I got a month off for vacation that I negotiated at my last job.

Figures, some high up world class yo yo feels a certain way and everyone has to fall in line versus getting a pulse of the whole. Wouldn't be as annoying but for what you said about those people just strolling to their office and closing doors..plus of course, family first always.

One reason I haven't looked. I'm at 5 weeks and 8 sick days. That has intrinsic value of course, plus with my parents getting older and needing more help it's huge. The sick policy is actually called wellness so I can just say I can't work today and it's not questioned, even if in reality I just stay home and hang by the pool or something. You might could be able to negotiate 4 weeks but IDK.

Right now my method is just to be wallpaper around the place. Blend in, do my job, try to avoid being voluntold for shit..give an honest day's work so I don't get on the bad list. The insurance is damn good where I am, both the package as well as my cost, and that's huge given I'm older plus my wife's nearing retirement and I carry us both on everything.

Same here.
This year's kennel cough was a bad one according to my Doc.

 

Still have snow pack and icy areas in parts of my yard. Ground still frozen, so I'll keep a careful watch when we get the monsoon tomorrow. Hope there are no issues with runoff.

Same here . My basement stresses me out . We do not need rain this time of year . Lots of ice in the yard here also .
