    Hello,
recently bought trail edition wheels for my 2017 SR. Given the stock TPMS were 8 years old and for steel wheels, I bought a set of OEM alloy TPMS sensors off ebay (first mistake, too cheap to be true). When the arrived, the box P/N was correct, but the sensors inside were PMV-C010 not PMV-C015. I was able to read them with my Autel TS601, so I assumed (second mistake) they would be able to be programmed to truck. I was under a time crunch and decided to take the chance and install them. I am now able to read all 4 sensors, then perform the relearn via the Autel. The live data shows all 4 sensors good, all 4 are green, all 4 Hex codes match what I installed, but I still have code C2126 (transmitter ID not received main). I've done the procedure a few times, always says relearn success, never works. So now I may just have expensive valves until I purchase some Autel MX sensors, but I really don't want to crack the bead on a brand new setup.

One thing to note, in order to read the sensors, I need to tell the Autel the vehicle is a ~2106 camry which I assume those sensors are native to. I can still program them in this car configuration. If I then switch to correct Tacoma config, I can still see the live data and sensors looking good. Just looking for some advice since this is my first time working with Autel and Toyota TPMS, and everything appears fine except the code saying it isn't working.

here is the description of the code you have. Most likely one of yours transmitters are not registered

Vlady, thank you for the reply, I will try and re-register the sensors.
Inyo_man, I have done 6 trips of 15 miles, averaging 45 mph during those, plus a bunch more power cycles.

Seems like the Autel can read them but they aren't compatible with your truck.

With the reader hooked up to my obdII port, I can view the live data of the sensors, pressures and temps, as well as see the codes via obdII. I think this is data from the truck, not from the sensors directly via triggering, but I've never used this tool before so that assumption could be wrong.

I know I needed PMV-C015 to work in my 3rd gen. I accidently tried PMV-107J (2nd gen) and they never worked.

Increase and rapidly decrease the pressure. See if sensors are responding to the change. If not, the sensor(s) not registered or something else causing the issue

Didn’t do the entry with my autel, did that with TechStream. Used the Autel to verify codes to wheel location and confirm labels. Perhaps consider rearranging the sequence of codes entered. The rediscover button will solve locations.
