Purchased from original owner who special ordered. Factory Trd off road suspension, skids, and rear diff lock.
Im ordering a 5100 set for my basically stock 08 access cab TRD OR. Damn theres a lot of spring options out there. I don't have any bumpers or added weight, I just want to level the front with a good spring that isn't beating my brains out. My OEM coils are toast anyways so those gotta go. Can anyone give me some insight into what coil they used for leveling, paired with 5100's?

I know of OME 2884's (not sure if 2883's will suffice).
Eibachs (but some forums say they're getting 2.5 lift on the lowest shock ring so not sure??)

ALSO, is it true that leveling these trucks is only 1.5" not 2".
I have 1.5" spacers in there now just to level the front and its perfectly level, but when it comes to swapping entire strut, Im unsure. Not planning on touching the rear until the leafs begin to sag, then ill do a full pack swap and change the springs up front, but thats far down the road. Also I can assemble the struts so options are wide open. If anyone else assembled a 5100 strut with a good coil that leveled the front and didn't sag too much lmk!

Oh also I didnt go 6112 because I dont really need them and shoutout rock auto, got the whole trucks 5100's and upper/lower grease-able ball joints for a steal.

    Thanks in advance!

I installed 2884s, with the 5100s set to zero. It leveled up the truck with some HD leafs I installed, the 884s lifted the front about 2" and settled to about 1.5~1.75" after a year.

Sweet, we’re the leafs you put in lifted leafs or just stock height made for extra weight?

The leafs were the general spring HD leafs for the tacoma, they lifted the truck 2" above the sagged out oem springs so one could expect 1~2" of lift out of those leafs. Big improvement over the stock springs when carrying anything.
