Chris, I am sooo with you on this one bro!! It's ridiculous with all the dumbass rules anymore.. They told me I couldn't leave my garage door open during the day!! WTF
    1. It's MY gawdamm property!! Leave me the F**k alone!!
    2. See above!!

I got an invoice for $600 for my HOA dues last week..
I wrote them back the other day. I said "clean up the f**king medians, curbs, move your equipment, tractors, fix the f**king lights at the entrance, then I MIGHT pay your lazy ass.. Until such action is taken on your part I'm using this invoice to wipe my ass."

    Sincerely,
    OU812--
My neighbors really do love me though.. I'm a cute cuddly furball of fun

Seems all my neigbors really like me, its just the HOA blue hairs that have a problem. I used to be friendly to them, say "Hi", and the like, but it seems they have a hard on for me for some reason. Oh well. Fuck them. :D

Sorry to be devil's advocate, but you signed up for this sh1t so you have to put up with it.

Or, do like I did - and buy in a non-hoa neighborhood. Where I am there is no HOA and the houses are decent.

Trouble is with HOAs is that they annoy people so much that people rebel and end up doing stuff just to annoy the HOA which also affects neighbors etc. If my truck was absolutely caked in mud I wouldn't leave it that way just out of respect for my neighbors/wanting to keep the place look nice. But if an HOA was on my ass about it, I'd probably leave it dirty just to spite them.

WOW! I'm sorry to here that Chris and others w/ Crappy Ass's. Makes me glad for once that my HOA is pretty laid back. As long as my grass it cut, they get paid, they really don't give a shit.

Don't you guys have water restrictions in Arizona? If so, wait till on of those old bastards are washing their car during that time, and turn them in. If not, do something so insane that they never even think about turning you in again. Not illegal, but just scare the shit out of them. Rent Dirty Old Men for some ideas. Screw w/ their Bingo night somehow.

Way to cold up there for me.
No. I didnt sighn up for this shit. These people have gone so far as to have a "secret meeting" and change rules so as to make something Im doing against them. I would then have to organize some people and fight it, and have the rules reversed.
We have restrictions that vary from neigborhood to neigborhood. I can wash my vehicles at my house, and the thing is, I WAS going to wash my truck. I even had a shovel in the back to clean up all the mud that fell off and throw it away. I have since cleaned up the mud that fell off my truck out of resect for my neigbors, but Im not washing my truck, as there is no mention of dirty vehicles in the HOA rules.

I don't have any blue hairs for neighbors. Just the Pres of HOA/ owner of the rest of the non built lots can be a jack sometime. He drives around in his pickup looking for things to bitch about.
My neighbor next door can get away with anything. I get along with him allright.
But it really pisses me off when he can have half-gravel drive. he spent the rest of the money on an ornate gate for his driveway thats only half paved. He too stupid to grow grass and his fence is falling over cause he never landscaped properly and set his posts the right way. So his pool is always full of mud.. Oh yeah-- he is a retired GM employee (senior mgmt no less).. Nuff said:rolleyes:

So I get YELLED at for having my f***ing garage door open while I'm taking care of my yard!!! WTF is that about..

The postman hit my mailbox.. Now I have to fix that. We have to have NICE mailboxes and all. Now you got me all worked up man.. Me thinks I'm taking that white mailbox down and making my own out of plate steel and painting ghost flames on that fucker.

I even went out and bought nice hose reels last summer.. This spring I'm going to replace those with my original wheels off my truck.. Screw 'em.

Chris, If I had a dog I'd do the same thing. Way to go Molly!! Give her a milk bone for me!! :D

Screw that then, surely these things have to get voted on etc? Fight them. And as for your later post saying they stuck their heads over your fence - that's an intrusion of privacy isn't it? Man, they must have it in for you.

those kind of associations makes me sick, I think no rule or group can mess with your sacred right to "do whatever the fuck i want on my property"

i have to deal with a lot of shit when it comes to building in private residential areas, if they want to, they even dictate the % area you have to put roof tiles! or the damn colors, window sizes.... i think that just sucks....

Chris, we need to host TW party's.
Get a whole bunch of muddy Taco's parked in the driveway, street and have a bunch of TW signs in the front yard along with dozen's of quads, dirtbikes and pink flamingos.

(Throw in a '75 Winnebago for good measure) :D

All this shit started years ago when a guy and his wife drove here from another state on a holiday ( I forget which one) and when they pulled in, their front hub broke, and their truck ( A ford none the less), was dead on the ground in the middle of the street. I grabbed my tools, and began to help them fix their truck, when one of the old bags came out screaming "You cant work on vehicles here!". I calmly told her the situation, and explained that it should be fixed before long, and that they didnt have enough money for a tow to a shop for repair. Truck was fixed within an hour, and ever since, the HOA has had it in for me. I hope one of them breaks down so I can grab my BBQ grill, some drinks, and plop down on my tailgate for an afternoon of watching them suffer.:D

Hell I would find the biggest POS truck on craigslist and buy it and park in front of your house, after you have started the lawn in the bed with top grade cow crap for fertilizer. Also need to put it on cider block so the have a hell of a time to tow it. Also you heed to do some property inspections on the HOA presidents house. Fight fire with fire.
